Welcome to this Week 6 edition of Mikey O Knows. I am so sorry to all Julio Jones owners, tough to lose a player of that caliber, but don’t give up just yet! Anything can happen in fantasy football! Heck, Brandon Jacobs just turned back the clocks on Thursday. Here are some other players that can fill in and do an admirable job! Also, a happy Canadian Thanksgiving to all. I am thankful for having fantasy in my life!

Willis McGahee – RB – Cleveland Browns (vs. Detroit Lions)
Willis McGahee has found himself back into fantasy relevance, and I LOVE him this week against the Lions. The Detroit defense is ranked 2nd worse in the league allowing opposing running backs to rush for 5.3 yards a carry. Yes, McGahee is definitely not close to what he used to be, but he is getting bell-cow numbers right now in Cleveland and can be relied upon. He got the rock 26 times last week. Good for the 2nd most attempts out of every running back last week! And although he only averaged 2.8 per carry, we must remember this guy is just getting acclimated to the new club.
Couple that with Brandon Weeden back in the fold? You can expect another heavy dose of McGahee this week. 90-100 yards rushing with a goal-line score is definitely within reach. Plus, look how cool he looks with that visor! He makes every uniform look unreal. This man is ready to roll so plug him in!
Danny Woodhead- RB- San Diego Chargers (vs. Indianapolis Colts)
Hello Danny Woodhead everybody! Woodhead has entrenched himself in the San Diego offense and is a must start this week against the Colts on Monday night. Ryan Mathews is probable for the tilt and most likely will suit-up but he’s been anything but reliable. I’m sure they’ll ease him in a bit with him getting over his concussion, which should equal lots of Danny Woodhead in what I presume to be a high-scoring game.
Woodhead has three touchdowns over his last two games, and his heavily involved the Chargers pass attack. The Colts linebackers have struggled a bit this season in coverage so bet Woodhead to get some good looks. Woodhead also stayed in the game on goal-line looks so make sure you start him this week.
Terrance Williams – WR- Dallas Cowboys (vs. Washington Redskins)
Don’t get scared by Miles Austin’s expected return. The rookie product can fly and is starting to get in a groove with Quarterback Tony Romo. In the last two weeks, Williams has caught 11 balls for 222 yards. Wowzers. That’s Dez Bryant-esque right there. With a lot of attention on Dez in this one, expect Terrance to find the holes and have another big night. Austin has been lacking burst and is sure to see limited snaps while still recovering from his hamstring injury.
Williams has proven his worth in Dallas and will get targets. Don’t forget, were talking about a Redskins defense here that ranks last in the NFL with allowing 440.5 yards per game. Receivers are performing 13 percent above the league average against Washington so Terrance will be flying this week!
Keenan Allen – WR – San Diego Chargers (vs. Indianapolis Colts)
How about those waiver-wire adds on Eddie Royal? That didn’t last too long as the rook in Keenan Allen has taken over. Will this love affair last? I think so! Lots of passes going around in the Chargers pass-happy offense and Philip Rivers might have found his go-to-guy for the season. Allen has garnered 11 catches for 195 yards and a touchdown in the last two weeks. Impressive stuff from the third-round pick. The Colts defense is pretty solid but nothing scary. They haven’t played against top passing offenses this year and just had quite the shoot-out against Seattle.
I expect another shoot-out Monday Night with Keenan Allen stepping up big once again! I would offer a trade in your leagues for this guy, hoping the owner hasn’t caught on to his recent chemistry with Rivers or pick him up if he’s still available.
Garrett Graham – TE- Houston Texans (vs. St. Louis Rams)
I hope Owen Daniel owners scooped up the new #1 Tight End in Houston. Sorry Owen, but Daniels will be out for at least 8 weeks with a fractured fibula and should be dropped. I know not too many people have trust in Matt Schaub but the good news for new Graham owners, Schaub loves to check down to the Tight End and is the only thing he see’s in the End Zone.
Daniels was seeing over nine targets per game the last three weeks, so expect a lot of targets to be coming Graham’s way. Especially this week against the Rams defense who’ve been having quite the number of hiccups on defense. Graham should be started in 10-12 team leagues.
Shopping at the five and dime – Not Too Shabby Start of the Week!
Emmanuel Sanders – WR – Pittsburgh Steelers (vs. @New York Jets)
Emmanuel Sanders found himself on many sleeper lists beginning the season and was projected to have quite the campaign as the new Steelers WR2. Fantasy owner’s have been quite disappointed thus far as the Steelers have looked anything but good on offense to start the season. As for Sanders, he’s failed to top 60 yards receiving in three out of four games. Not the numbers everyone was expecting. But for this week, I say Sanders tops 60 and has his best game of the season. Resulting in a Steelers victory for the first time perhaps!
With Antonio Cromartie playing and shadowing Antonio Brown, Sanders will be free to roam in this one. The Jets are the fourth worst in terms of pass coverage so expect a solid game from Sanders. I expect around 7 catches for 85 yards. Something I’d like to call not too shabby!
